Sue is our most senior hygienist joining our office in August of 1989. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan with a certificate in Dental Hygiene. She is married to Josh and is the mother of two daughters and a son. Sue enjoys family time, fishing, working out at the YMCA and Curves. She is a member of the Zonta Club of Marquette. Her commitment to the care of our patients is outstanding.
Laura has been with our office since August of 1990. Laura was a dental assistant before attending Lake Superior State University and completing her hygiene certification at Lansing Community College in 1990. Laura loves the outdoors no matter what, but especially enjoys to fish, hunt, snowshoe, ski, and canoe. Laura brings to our office a unique understanding of the restorative side as well as the preventative side of dentistry. She is a valued member of our staff.
Connie has been with Dental Associates since June 1998. She attended Northern Michigan University and graduated in 1998 with her degree in Dental Hygiene from Delta College. She is married to Troy and they have one daughter, a set of twin boys, and a West Highland White Terrier named Lily. Connie enjoys family time, swimming in the summer, and cross country skiing in the winter. Living in Munising, Connie is able to work in our offices both in Marquette and Munising. Connie's flexibility and friendly attitude make her ideally suited for bringing excellent hygiene care to our patients.
Debbie has been working in our office since July 2004. She received her Associates Degree from Glen Oaks Community College and hygiene certification from Kalamazoo Valley College in 1982. She has been a dental care provider for 29 years. Debbie is married to B.G. and has two teen-aged sons. Her interests are following the boys activities in sports and theater, skiing, and snowshoeing. Debbie brings her maturity and wealth of experience to our office and we appreciate her continuing interest in keeping current with the best that hygiene has to offer our patients.
Rachel joined our hygiene staff in January 2006. She graduated from Ferris State University in 2001 and worked in the Grand Rapids area for the past five years. She is also licensed to provide local anesthesia and to administer nitrous oxide sedation. Rachel is married to Derek and together they like to participate in many outdoor activities such as golf, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, and gardening. Her enthusiasm and additional training in anesthesia and sedation make her an ideal staff member in our office.
Liz joined our hygiene staff March 2007. She graduated from Ferris State University in 2000 after also completing one year at Northern Michigan University. As a Marquette native, she has been working in the Marquette area since her graduation. Liz is married to Geoff and they enjoy many outdoor activites together such as hiking and camping. Liz also has extensive continuing education in TMJ and sleep apnea diagnostics which will enhance the availability of the treatment options currently present in our office. This additional training and her fresh approach makes her a great addition to our staff
